Donna Hanna is a life-long resident of the Kansas City area. Her passions include music, dance, poetry, fine art, photography, and a variety of crafts. Throughout her life, Donna has engineered recording sessions, written poetry/lyrics, taken dance lessons, and explored photography to fulfill her innate desire to create.
Donna made her career in the Federal Civil Service, supporting and paying Marine Corp members world-wide. After retirement, she mastered Advanced Photoshop in a two-year Multimedia Studies program at the Kansas City Art Institute. Photoshop provided a new avenue of creative expression, and Donna began her journey into digital art. While her focus remains on her award-winning digital work, Donna has expanded her portfolio to include both oil/acrylic painting and handmade jewelry. Her private collectors reside throughout the central and southern mid-west regions.
Donna is a member of Summit Art where she serves as Co-Chair of the Jury Committee and on the St. Luke’s East Gallery Team. She is also a member of the Raytown Artists’ Association where she serves as Chair of the Display Committee.
